Cheats in One thousand Theft Auto: San Andreas are similar to those of its predecessors, requiring input of a series of controller button commands or a keyboard. Negative effects of cheating

Adulterous in GTA San Andreas has been proven to accept some negative effects on missions and gameplay. The following list contains side effects that may arise past playing the game with cheats. To avoid any of these side effects, it is recommended to use cheat codes just afterwards the game has been completed or on an alternate save file. However, some pocket-size side effects from a salvage file with cheats tin spread onto a file without cheats.

Adulterous decreases the Criminal Rating by 10 (except for "Health & Armor" crook).
The "Infinite Ammo" cheat may cause the audio to glitch upward. The reason this happens is unknown.
Enabling the "Spawn Hotring Racer" cheat may sometimes spawn a Hotring Racer without a racing number. The same happens and implies while enabling the "Spawn Bloodring Banger" crook.
Enabling "All Cars Explode" crook in some gameplay cutscenes in some missions volition cause the screen to freeze and the player will be stuck in the cutscene fashion. The game will all the same be in procedure, simply the mission cannot be connected on. The only style to escape from this situation is to reload a game save or commit suicide via cheats, hacks or other ways.
Enabling the "Health and Armor" crook during the wheel chase of Just Business organisation and during shooting from the car in End of the Line volition fail the mission, destroying the BF-400/Feltzer, and CJ will somewhen exist Wasted.

The Wellness and Armor crook has no effect on the DA's car on 555 We Tip.
Enabling the "Health and Armor" crook at any time during a taxi driver sub-mission will immediately empty the tip bar, making the player unable to get the Speed Bonus (this doesn't always happen on PC version).
Enabling the "Lock Wanted Level" cheat will cause a glitch on the Mike Toreno mission stopping the script afterward the blood-red marking (unless the "Lock Wanted Level" cheat is disabled).
The Maximum Fat and Max Musculus cheats brand information technology difficult for the player to date Helena Wankstein (unless the actor collected all Oysters).
