The Blackout (Russian: Аванпост, romanized: Avanpost , lit.'Outpost') is a 2019 Russian science fiction action thriller film directed by Egor Baranov and starring Pyotr Fyodorov.[4] [five] [6] [vii] It had its earth premiere at the Cinequest Picture show & Creativity Festival on fifteen March 2019 and was released in the Russian Federation on 21 November 2019. The motion picture is about an event that of a sudden plunges the entire world into darkness, apace destroying life on Earth except for a modest expanse in Eastern Europe. It received generally negative reviews from film critics.

Prologue [edit]
When an alert is triggered at the "Outpost" military base, soldiers have up positions and prepare for battle. It is reported that an unidentified enemy is budgeted, creatures larger than humans moving at a speed of twenty kilometers per hr.
A month before [edit]
24 days before the events of the Prologue, serviceman Oleg has a date with Alena. Later they get back to his identify. Suddenly the entire world, except for the area effectually Moscow, and parts of Belarus, Ukraine and Republic of finland is plunged into darkness. The fate of billions is unknown. Outpost protection [edit]

During interrogation, Eid explains that he is an alien from a afar star system that has long died out. They desire to motility to Earth, considering in their constellation the star "Sun" is still immature and volition live long enough, Ra is behind all this, although before that Eid idea he was the only one on Globe. However, Eid with Zhenya and the rest of the soldiers, led past Mary, remain live, as they had left the base to find Ra.

At this time, Jura joins the satellite-9 grouping of the outpost and in the middle of the nighttime finds a defenseless teenager in one of the apartments. Gathered together, they become back to Kirov, encountering a crowd of people under the command of Ra, fight through a skyscraper, climb the roof and find Ra. Eid and Ra Engage in battle and eventually Eid tears a device from Ra'south chest, Allowing Yura to thrust a grenade into Ra's chest. All the people who were under the control of Ra once more and once again all die and autumn to the ground. Simply Yura, Oleg, Marina, Olya, Alena, Eid and Lavrin remain alive. Eid explains that this number of people is plenty to be reborn over again, as people will exist able to breed and give birth to many new children. Oleg is furious trying to impale Eid, but Yura stands up for the alien, knocks Oleg to the floor and beats him while Olya shoots him. Alena, Olya and Oleg decide to enter the alien transport while the injured Yura shouts in their backs "Nosotros will die all the same!" Entering the ship, they observe out that all the aliens are however sleeping in cryocapsules and have not woken up. Countdown timers turn on at cryocapsules, and the three main characters determine to break the pipes for oxygen supply, thereby killing them in the capsules themselves, leaving them to dice without oxygen. When it remains to destroy the last tube, it turns out that it delivers oxygen to the capsules with the aliens' children, and they decide not to break it. The capsule timers reach zero, the capsules open up, and alien children crawl out of their capsules. They see three representatives of planet Globe in front of them. The latter voluntarily throw their weapons on the floor in front end of their optics, proving that they volition not harm them.

Production [edit]
Initially, the film was conceived as a series, but the creators had only the script of the commencement serial.[10] When this series was filmed, Egor Baranov made some changes to the history. Later the first series was shot, information technology became clear that the changes in the script slightly modify the intonation and direction of the plot. After that, it was decided to move the script in a slightly different direction. Baranov claims that his film is more anti-state of war, since he did not attempt to show the force of the military, in contrast to films similar Transformers and Top Gun. In the film, about seventy% of the total timing is done using estimator graphics.
Filming [edit]
Co-ordinate to Baranov, they worked on the filming of the full film for about six months, and sometimes about a year. On the set of the film, real soldiers with the latest military equipment were involved, who agreed to star in this film, offer merely small-scale tips and communication for scenes with their participation. Video game [edit]
On 7 Nov 2019, a browser game was launched, the main feature of which is integration with Google Maps. In the application window, the user tin enter whatever address (or merely indicate the city) and encounter how his native streets will change in the ensuing post-apocalypse in the universe of this film.[28] Also in the game at that place will exist elements of a shooter, since the chief chore in the game will be cleaning the streets from aliens.[29]
